Coflein yw cronfa ddata ar-lein Cofnod Henebion Cenedlaethol Cymru (CHCC), y casgliad cenedlaethol o wybodaeth am amgylchedd hanesyddol Cymru. Daw enw´r gronfa ddata o´r ddau air cof a lein.
Mae Coflein yn fodd i weld manylion miloedd ar filoedd o safleoedd archaeolegol, henebion, adeiladau a safleoedd arforol yng Nghymru, ynghyd â mynegai i´r lluniadau, y llawysgrifau a´r ffotograffau sydd yng nghasgliadau archifol CHCC.
Welcome to the new version of Coflein.
This is part of our continuing programme of improving access to our records.
Coflein is the online database for the National Monuments Record of Wales (NMRW), the national collection of information about the historic environment of Wales. The name is derived from the Welsh cof (memory) and lein (line).
Coflein allows access to details of many thousands of archaeological sites, monuments, buildings and maritime sites in Wales, together with an index to the drawings, manuscripts and photographs held in the NMRW archive collections.
