Zoar Methodist Chapel was built in 1851 and rebuilt in 1876. The later chapel, designed by architect William Jones of Rhondda, was built in the Simple Round-Headed style with a gable-entry plan and two storeys. Zoar is now Grade 2 Listed as a well-proportioned rural chapel associated with early industrial development and retaining its original character.
