The spread, turf-covered foundations of a former chapel are located on a broad terrace at the foot of a slope.
Overall the building remains measure 16m (E-W) by 9.5m (originally probably nearer 12m by 7m), banks 3m-4m wide and 0.6m high (max). There is an entrance gap on the NE slightly offset from centre to E. A monument has been erected on the site of the altar, on the E.
The terrace on which the chapel lies is probably natural but there is some evidence on it for an enclosure around the building. At the foot of rising ground on the NE is a grassy linear bank traces of which are clearer 35m to the NW. Fifteen metres to the SW of the chapel the terrace lip is well defined, 0.5m high.
