An oval enclosure, c.170m by 114m, set upon the S tip of Clytha Hill, mutivallate, except to the NW where there are severe natural slopes, the entrance faces an open ridge to the NE.
Excavation, 1969-71 uncovered a med. longhouse along with much evidence of IA occupation.
