Ffynnon Cybi is a good example of a medieval or post-medieval holly well. Placed outside the south wall of Llangibby churchyard, it comprises a small, stone built, rectangular vault some 1.9m by 1.7m by 1.8m high. The exterior appears to have lost much of its facework, but the square stone-lintelled opening over the downstream side remains. The internal structure, which is still intact, comprises a circular corbelled vault. The well still contains water and feeds the stream that runs eastwards alongside the lane.
