DisgrifiadOpened in 1913 at a cost of £3,870, the Llanbradach Workmen's Hall & Institute contained a large hall (capacity 1,000), library and reading room, and billiards room. The philanthropist Clara Thomas donated £1,000 towards to the cost of construction. A cinema, which showed one picture a night, operated here from the 1920s with a capacity of 500 seats. Left derelict by the end of the 1980s, the building was demolished in the 1990s and there is a carpark on the site today.
