Cwmllynfell Workmen's Hall & Instititute was officially opened on 4 September 1934 and cost £9,404 to construct. In use for the rest of the twentieth century as a library and reading room, public hall, and social space, it was demolished in May 2001 in order to construct a modern community hall. This occupies the same site and was officially opened on 7 May 2002.
