Penygroes Memorial Hall opened in 1928 and contained a public hall, library and reading room, and also provided a welfare ground equipped with a cricket pitch, football pitch, bowling green, tennis courts, and children's playground. The original building was demolished in the late 1990s and a modern hall constructed as a community venue. This opened in 1999.
