Octagonal lodge designed in 1906 for C. W. May Massey, of Newry (now Plas Heulog) by the outstanding Arts and Crafts architect, Herbert Luck North (1871-1941), who lived and worked in Llanfairfechan from c.1901.
It is single-storey with an attic, its rooms wrapping tightly around the central chimney which becomes cruciform above the graded slate roof and terminates with a flourish of gabled stacks, almost a miniature building in itself. Four dormers light the upper bedroom.
