DisgrifiadBlaen-nedd-uchaf (Tir Nant y Moch). Farmstead in the upper Neath valley, on the W bank of the river.
The remains consist of a ruined building with yard and outbuilding in a landscape of earthen/rubble banks, lynchets and clearance piles. Many of the boundaries are still depicted on the OS plans. S of the farmhouse is a dam.
The local landscape was surveyed by students at University of Wales College Cardiff in the late 1980s.
DKL 1996
'A three-roomed range, with the southerly compartment appearing to be the house. The whole site is badly ruined, and few details can be seen, although there is evidence that the riverside frontage had been heavily buttressed at some time before it was abandoned.'
