DescriptionWyndham Street Independent Chapel was built in 1883 by the architect Mr Shergold of Bridgend at a cost of £2550. The chapel is constructed in the gothic style on a gable entry plan. By 201 the chapel had been converted into a pub and was still in use as such in May 2015. The conversion has left the left side and end gallery intact as well as the upper section of the giant pulpit arch, although this has been modified to form an opening. Some pews in the gallery remain and the timber barrelled ceiling is intact.
