Elim Independent Chapel was built in 1847, modified in 1852 and rebuilt in 1880. The later chapel was built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys and round-headed windows, by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. Elim closed in 1993 and was demolished in 1995.
