Description
Noddfa Welsh Baptist chapel was built in 1939 at a cost of £5000, and opened on the 7th August 1940. The chapel is built as a gable entry type in the Art Deco style. Constructed of brown brick, there is a taller gable section to the centre, flanked by two flat headed bays. There is a central pair of flat headed doorways set within a large stepped concrete surround, over which is a giant arch containin three tall, narrow, flat-headed windows. The arch is flanked by two smaller, similar windows and there are a further two in the outer bays. The stepped lintels above the doors are inscribed NODDFA/CAPEL Y BEDYDDWYR/AD 1939.
