Tabernacle Independent Chapel was built in 1639, rebuilt in 1803 and remodelled in 1924, including the addition of a Memorial Hall. The present chapel, dated 1803, is built in the later Vernacular and Sub-Classical style of the long-wall entry type. This chapel is now Grade 2 Listed, despite modernisation, for the special historic interest of its association with William Wroth and early Non-Conformism in Wales.
