St James Street Methodist Chapel was built in 1837 to the design of architect George Vaughan Morgan and altered internally in 1885. It original chapel was built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan. St James Street is Grade 2* Listed for its exceptional architectural interest as an important historic building with a well preserved interior.
