DescriptionThe Old Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built in 1822 rebuilt in the 1830, enlarged in 1840 and rebuilt 1869. The present chapel, now used as a village hall, is built in the Vernacular and Simple Round-Headed style, with a long-wall entry plan and two storeys. This chapel is now Grade 2 Listed for it's exterior character and the five large cast iron columns supporting the external gallery overhang. In 2006 planning permission was sought to convert the then disused building into four flats.
