Description
The Friend's congregation was established in Llandrindod in 1893 and land was bought in 1897. The meeting house (complete with electic lighting) was built and opened in the same year, designed by the firm of architects Owen Morris Roberts & Son, of Porthmadog. The Meeting House is built in the Sub-Classical style with a a long-wall entry plan. It was sold to the Elim Pentecostal Church in 1985, and a smaller brick built successor built to the rear of the original meeting house. This is still in use as a chapel.
