Description
A mission room was established at Blaenplwyf in 1878, located on the west side of the A473 road through the village. Constructed of squared rubble and yellow brick dressings (pointed window and door openings and quoins), under slate roofs, and aligned roughly north by south, it comprises a single room with gabled south-east porch and south bellcote. The building remains portrayed as a 'Mission Room' on the Ordnance Survey six-inch plan of 1938-52 but has since been converted to residential accommodation.
