DescriptionHoreb Independent Chapel was built in 1820 and rebuilt in 1839. It was possibly also rebuilt at a later date. The present building is substantially that of 1839 and built in the Gothic style with gothic window heads (although they only have domestic-type glazing bars) and a long-wall entry plan. The rendered exterior is of a typical simple chapel of its date. The platform pulpit survives at one end backed by wooden panelling on the end wall capped by a gable pediment. A central longitudinal aisle leads between the pews in the single-storey interior.
