DescriptionThe original St Helen's church is shown on 4th edition OS 25" mapping dated c.1937. A replacement church was built in 1960 to the designs of Thomas Price. St Helen's is one the largest of Price's designs for a number of Catholic churches in Wales. The church was again redesigned in c2000. Artworks include a set of wooden (oak) relief carvings by Caroline Mackensie from 1999-2000, and a nimbed lamb with a cross, and a small chalice below from 1960, situated on the exterior front wall.
