Built as chapel of ease for the parish church of Llanbeulan. Of various dates: nave possibly C12, chancel rebuilt C16, and S chapel C17. Built of rubble masonry with boulder quoins and modern slate roof. W bellcote. C12 font removed when church fell out of use in 1992. Remains virtually unrestored and is particularly notable for the retention of a complete set of C18 fittings, including simple plank pews.
