DescriptionA single span segmental arch of c.12.5 m (41 ft). Built of sandstone ashlar between rubble embankments, the ashlar course dipping slightly to the arch. An earlier masonry bridge was recorded on this site in 1602. The present bridge appears to be the result of a major repair or rebuilding during the second half of the C18 (although tie-bars inserted during the 1720s remain)
