Description
An upright stone on the east southeast-facing slopes of Cwm Oergwm, about halfway up, at the end of boundary bank, NPRN 246282. It was a flat stone 0.50m high. The northeast face had the initials "GH" incised on it. It is thought that the initials represent Gwynne-Holford, the family name of the owners of the Buckland Estate during the 19th and 20th centuries, which had possession of a large part of the common land here. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 13 October 2008.
