Description
A large house built in 1624, and with a later eastern wing at right-angles. This later wing had a 5-bay front and a giant order of Doric pilasters. The older portion had shaped gables with finials, and deep mullioned windows. The principal entrance was formed of a moulded round arch under a pediment, with fluted columns. The entablature held the building's date, with a lion rampant below. The house was demolished in 1973.
