DescriptionOAN field survey, located by GPS to an accuracy of +/- 1m. Possible funerary cairn, approximately 8m in diameter with a possible outer bank. It is constructed of medium to large stones forming a low mound which has been deliberately cut around in the same manner as the grouse nesting cuttings. The central area is apparently cut into the current ground level and infilled with stone. The central portion is apparently a modern rebuild, and stands up to 2m in height. There is much lichen on the stones and it would appear to be the remains of a much larger structure now heavily disturbed.2003/02/10/OAN/NW
