Description
The former London-Holyhead Coach Road toll gate house, built by Thomas Telford in 1785 according to a plaque on the right wing. Single-storey, of a T-plan, with a pitched slate roof projecting out over the eaves. The roof of the projecting front wing has splayed corners, with a pitched roof over the porch. 3-light windows with deep lintels up to the eaves. The house is still occupied.
