Description
Garth Hall was built at great expense in 1809 for Richard Mytton, chaplain to the Governor General of India. The building was a mixture of gothic and ecclesiastical styles including the use of numerous crocketed spires and ornate roof parapets, echoed in the pinnacled circular stables. It was demolished in 1947.
