An irregular headland, c.400m E-W by 100-300m, rising 60m above the sea, is isolated by a steep-sided cwm on the NE; double banks and ditches define the landward side, obscured by Dunraven castle (Nprn18581) on the SE and curving to meet the cliff-line on the NW, where there is an additional bank.
There are at least 21 possible roundhouse sites, c.6.0m in diameter, within.
