Description
The circle is located close to the highest point of an undulating plateau, near to its NW scarp and survives as a semi-circle of ten visible stones suggesting an original diameter of about 18m. The largest stone is 0.9m high, the smallest are stumps of only 0.1m. When recently visited (1999) grazing had been reduced and dense grass obscured some of the stones.
The circle is one feature in a complex of sites on this dissected plateau (see Nprn400911-4).
