DescriptionProbable remains of Bronze Age cairn identified in clear-felled forestry by Toby Driver in 1999. Remains comprise concentration of compacted stones c3m across, centered on core of smaller rounded stones and angular rubble. Largest stone 0.35m across. No upright structural orthostats are visible. Cairn occupies exceptional position on leading edge of ridge with extensive views to west. The site has been much disturbed by forestry ploughing and recent felling activities. Sketch plan in NMRW.
