Description
St Teilo's church is located on the south side of Church Lane close to its junction with Bolgoed Road. It was built in 1850-1 in pre-Pugin Gothic style to the designs of William Richards of Swansea, to replace the medieval church on the marshes (NPRN 94698). It consists of a 'boxy' nave, short chancel, three-stage porch tower and spire on gable west end, big broad lancets and thin, strip-like buttresses. Stained glass includes work by A.L.Moore (1905), and Howson & Townsend (1952).
