Description
Cae Summerhouse is a subrectangular enclosure, about 56m east-west by 50m, defined by traces of a bank & ditch, with a semi-concentric outer circuit, about 15-20m distant on the north, west & east.

Excavations, in 1966-7 & 1973, demonstrated that occupation opened in the Iron Age, continuing into the Romano-British period, with several possible granaries & corn-drying kilns.
