Winter aerial reconnaissance on 10th January 2003, (2003/5015-50) in very low light, recorded part of a rectilinear field system adjoining the north-west side of the enclosure, which may be contemporary. Earthworks within the enclosure are suggestive of hut platforms or contemporary internal subdivisions. This photography in particular demonstrates the survival of the enclosure on a small fragment of unculivated pasture, surrounded by otherwise heavily improved grassland.
