Site Description 1. ST AELHAIARN CHURCHYARD, GUILSFIELD is a well preserved medieval village church of great national architectural interest and a circular walled churchyard, around the periphery of which grow superb examples of ancient managed yew trees apparently planted in a designed scheme. c. 1300 - west tower, c. 1400 - main body of church, c. 1600 main planting, c. 1879 restoration by G. E. Street. CSB
