Description
A single chambered stone and boulder foundation is located on the W bank of the river at the foot of the valley cutting. It measures 6.6m (N-S) by 4m wide and is defined by walls 0.6m to 0.9m thick and generally 0.4m high. Boulders and smaller stones were used in construction with boulders prevalent at the S end, the SW corner marked by a boulder 0.75m tall and 0.4m thick, and edge-wise slabs at the N end.
