Extract from Cadw Schedule description
Large burial cairn, probably Bronze Age, on the summit of Moel Wnion. Stone built circular carin, measuring c. 11m in diameter and up to 0.3m in height. Has been disturbed in the past, with the construction of a drystone shelter around an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar.
