A much disturbed cairn: investigation, 1973, showed that a c.8.0m diameter cairn had been raised over an off-centre pit containing a cremation deposit; robbing of the central cairn material & associated raising of a stone-heap on the W, were dated by a coin of 1938, possibly a deliberate deposition.
