A rectangular, near square, earthwork, of unknown date & purpose, set in a valley bottom location, on the fringes of a damp, or marshy area: the enclosure, about 26m north-east to south-west by 24m, is banked & ditched, having rather rounded angles & an apparently original south-west facing entrance; it is suspected that a stone structure, or building occupied the southern part of the enclosure.
