Description
A curvilinear double bank and ditch cut off an inland promontory, to form an enclosure, 64m by 40m, defined elsewhere by natural scarps, having an entrance towards the SW end of the rampart. The enclosure is similar in size and shape to Rickeston Rath (NPRN 305350), some 170m to the east. Both enclosures overlook the valley of the Sandyhaven stream. A cist burial within a possible Bronze Age barrow (NPRN 423678) lies at the base of the valley and is equidistant from the two enclosures.
