Site Description

1. A mound, 32.5-28m in diameter and 2.7m high, added to, or formed from, a natural moraine.

2. The mound lies to the south-east of Henfron Moat (NPRN 403112) and other polugh-denuded earthworks recorded during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance, indicating that it may have medieval origins.
