Site Description

An oval enclosure, c.44m in diameter, occupying the end of a ridge, defined by steep natural slopes to the N and S, by two lines of scarps to the E and double ditches with a medial mound to the W, facing along the ridge, with traces of a further ditch, c.30m further W.
An irregular platform, c.34m by 22m and 3.0m high, is set upon the W of the enclosure.
Possibly an undocumented earthwork castle.
