Site Description
1. The remains of a possible Roman practice camp have been recorded from aerial photographs, to the W of the Roman fort at Brecon Gaer (NPRN 92001).
Information from Rebecca Jones, RCAHMS, 16.07.2003.
2. A ditch-defined grassmark enclosure, near square, 27-30m across, univallate with rounded angles; appears to be set upon a slight rise above generally level, low lying ground on the west of the Afon Ysgir, overlooked by Y Gaer.

A square enclosure feature, as above, oriented north-west to south-east; there appears to be a further, more irregular feature, possibly a platform, set immediately to the north-east, the whole being overlain by cultivation ridges (see Nprn402236).
