Parchmarks recorded during aerial reconnaissance on 3 July 2003 show traces of extensive pre-enclosure field system occupying part of headland, of uncertain date. At the NGR is a rectangular enclosure perhaps 20m across with small rectangular annex to NE. This may represent a former sheepfold or small dwelling.
