Description
1. Rounded boulder 50in high 20in by 7in. Once stood in Haverfordwest SM95251560, to mark the site of the martyrdom of William Nichol 1558.

2. A red sandstone pillar, 1.2m high by 0.5m by 0.2m, bearing undefinable marks said to be remaining traces of an e.Christian inscribed cross, now flaked away: the stone previously stood at the High Street & Dark Street intersection, Haverfordwest, & is said to have marked the site of W. Nichol's execution by burning: removed to current site, 1840-8; a feature of Dale Castle grounds (Nprn401147).
