2. Mine first worked from 1840, with principal period of opperation from 1849 (?) to 1878, and subsequent workings 1880-82, 1888 and 1892.
Extensive surface remains including wheelpits, a leat, level portals and shaft mouths, ruins of various buildings and structures, together with tips.
