DescriptionNo.38 Terrace Road is a mid-nineteenth century shop with living accommodation above, altered in the later nineteenth century.
It is three storeys plus an attic high and has a single window front; there is a two-storey bay window on the first and second floor. A full-width shop front to the ground floor has plate glass windows above a brick plinth; a recessed doorway has moulded jambs, a panelled ceiling and a polychrome mosaic 'doormat' of floral design. At either end of the shop front is a panelled pilaster with decorated wooden bracket.
