A substantial sub-medieval gentry house of vernacular character, it retains its characteristic linear plan, with a fine sixteenth century Tudor arched doorway and well-preserved interior, and has external detail of early nineteenth century character. The farmhouse is the centrepiece of an impressive farmstead group.
