Description
Tower set at SE angle of Ewenny Priory walls (Nprn300298), later adapted as dovecote.

This is a substantial, austere rectangular tower, built soon after 1141, now roofless, with small arched windows in the upper east and west walls and a doorway on the north side. The tower was converted, possibly in the Tudor period, into a dovecote; the interior has alternating rows of nesting holes, built of stone, completely covering the walls to above window level.
