DescriptionThis site at Great Nash retains the ruins of a fifteenth to sixteenth century manor house and a later house of seventeenth century date. Only the dovecote within the farm buildings is of fifteenth to sixteenth century date. The stone built farm ranges are essentially late-nineteenth century, and there are also early to mid twentieth century buildings, which form a courtyard around a central yard. The pegged and lapped softwood collar roof-trusses are covered by corrugated-asbestos, but are presumed to have been originally slated.
