Melin Manaw, close to the farm of Fynnon-y-Mab, is named on all three editions of the 25-inch O.S. maps (1888,1900 and 1924), and is not labelled as disused. However, it was disused by 1919, and was described as an empty shell in 1929. By 1976 one side of the tower had totally collapsed.
